on expertise and the value of papers

On the news on Roundup and its possible linking to health issues as shown here,
Ms T. Haspel has written this critique,
where I have left the following comment:
"what is bad and what is good Science is a big debate! In the meantime, we need to be aware that the food chain cross-contamination by heavy metals, pesticides etc is an increasing problem that requires our urgent attention/research efforts and policy making...

p.s. I am not going to enter the debate about the expertise of the 2 authors of the Entropy paper, any Scientist is free to write and publish whatever/wherever they want.

I am not going to enter this debate because I would have to ask what is the food/health related expertise of Mrs Tamar Haspel...

In Science, there are other (better) ways to judge the value of a paper!"
========
In the next few days a relevant post on Sciscoop will appear.
