a letter from Heathrow airport on open mindness and Burgers...

Saturday 2.3.2013.
London - Heathrow, terminal 5…
waiting for the connection flight back to Athens, after having spent 2,5 days in the Highlands in Scotland,
Over some warm mocha…
Full off pictures/icons/interesting ideas and plans for the future
(I’ve managed actually to take 92 photos, most of them on the go…)

Some certain things…
  1. People have the power !
  2. Highlands are beautiful ! !
  3. Being open-mind is the key for success ! ! !

In my 2,5 days in Scotland, I had the chance to meet people (both in Academia and in Industry) with a similar approach of mine and we had some fruitful discussion on how we can make things happen and not trap ourselves in endless and boring discussions…

Sharp and forward thinking people…a "rare breed" nowadays.

On one hand it is rare, but on the other hand, because of this scarcity, it is extremely fascinating to talk to them, to work with them, to plan future research with them.

Mmm, this Mocha is good …

P.S. 1. Talking about open minded people, I saw two full pages of Saturday’s 2.3.2013Guardian’s with an ad of Tesco (see photo above)…

A clever way to say sorry for the messy horse scandal that has shaken big firms and the market of frozen food…

Some honesty is badly needed in Food Industry and when it comes, even late, it is really appreciated!

Tesco has definitely moved forward with this ad…

Will the other companies, involved in the scandal, follow quickly Tesco’s example?

P.S. 2.  The next few months are going to be fascinated in a quite a few fronts.
