and now...let's face the reality: troika is back...

it was a good break, few weeks without troika, few weeks talking about football and other stuff, a couple of elections (so so disappointing! 37 % did not go to vote on 17th June and 7% of those who voted chose a fascist party...),

but now the journey is over...

Just yesterday, the Greek government was hit by double health scare
and the greek national football team was stuffed by our lenders...[4-2] [look closely at Merkel's face expression...]

but the worst is yet to come...
On Monday, troika is back and the greek goverment (albeit "new" but so old in essence) is in intensive care...just as the greek economy...

Who is going to "negotiate" the memorandum with them?

Who is going to "veto" the new measures that are approaching like an avalanche?

Who is going to care about the poor and the unemployed?

It is hard to believe that the "new" PM with his new cabinet have the guts to do all that...

P.S. if we can not support our "heavy industry" (i.e. tourism) there is no hope at all...

[The first obvious blow to Greek tourism came when the country suspended international rail services 16 months ago. Since then, it's gone right off the rails. Before last weekend's election, nightmare scenarios were painted in the media of food shortages, street protests and a withdrawal from the euro]
