Athens News will close down this Friday...Why???

We are devastated by the shocking news. It is beyond our comprehension that the publishers want to close down a newspaper that has such a distinctive and unique readership. Athens News is the news window to greek affairs for all the people from abroad who do not master greek language. How will all these people be informed from now on?

In scientific and environmental issues, the coverage of Athens News is balanced, informative and unbiased rendering Athens News the top newspaper in Greece for these topics. Issues like the fires, the pollution, the doping scandal and the safety of food have been covered in a superb way.

Finally, the publishers do know better than us that the readers of Athens News are the top class of the society in terms of education and political power. These people are going to be let down...
